Ok, for all of you needing an update on the wedding plans... here they are! We are still getting married on September 06, 2008. That is for sure set in stone. So is Thanksgiving Point. That's all booked, money paid, it's ours! :)
Yesterday, Brynn and I went to do some dress shopping. For those of you who don't know, Brynn took me to David's Bridal about a month ago and it was a horrible experience. I was just having a "blah" day and the girl there wasn't any help at all. I tried on similar dresses to the one I was set on in Texas and I hated the way I looked! I felt like a giant white cow. I decided then and there that I cannot wear white. And the poof had to go. So, we went again yesterday. First we went to Abella Bridal in the Riverwoods. I didn't like anything they had in there. Nothing was screaming at me. We were literally there for like 5 minutes. :) I was so frustrated. I was beginning to think maybe I should just wear some Seven jeans and some cute heels down the aisle. Brynn was really sweet and talked me into going to Peggy's Bridal. I know, I know.. it's ghetto. But they really do have beautiful dresses and great prices! Brynn ended up getting her dress there and so did Halsie and Whitney. When we walked in, we were instantly greeted by an employee, which was a nice change to all the snotty people I had been dealing with. And this girl helped me pick some dresses and got me a dressing room. Brynn and I had some good laughs at me in some of the dresses. Sleeves do nothing for me, unless I am going for the football player look. But, then I tried on this beautiful off white dress! Oh, my! It was SO beautiful and I felt soooo beautiful in it! This picture doesn't do it any justice! It's so awesome! It folds upward towards the bust and has awesome flowered bead work up the side. The back is so pretty with a small train. The material is light weight and it goes so well with my skin and hair. I do need to tone up my shoulders and arms I think if I plan on wearing sleeveless. But that isn't a problem.
Let me know what you all think of it! I'd love to hear some feed back. I put it on hold until Thursday.

what is this ghetto stuff???....Lord, do you run around with snotty people or what? There are beautiful dresses out there at bargain prices. where and how you buy means nothing as long as you feel good in it. I bought mine on the sale rack for 120 bucks I too hated white so off white and comfortable is the key buy some double face clothing takpe to hold the thing down maideform make sit.
The dress is FABULOUS! I love love love it! We did a good job!!!
It looks amazing, but i think you should sneak in a regular camera and get a better picture. i'd love to see more details. the style does fit you for sure. love ya

I LOVE IT! Its so pretty, and i feel you on the sleeves, sleeveless in wedding dresses is way cuter! Plus off white/cream is BEAUTIFUL in wedding dresses! I sat its a YES! Good job!
