Reflecting

During times like these, I tend to reflect on things.
As some of you may know, my Great Grandmother passed away on Sunday. She was an amazing woman who did so much for her family. She'll be greatly missed. I feel so fortunate that I had the opportunity to know my Great Grandma and to be actually close to her. I don't know of any other person who has that.
With the funeral coming up, all of the family has begun to gather together. I have the greatest families. Both on my Moms and Dads side. I'm so lucky I was raised with family values. I don't know what I would without all of them. I love them all.. even the crazy ones. :) (Which, aren't we all a little crazy sometimes?) I love that I am close to my Great Aunts. I am so happy I can walk up to them and be greeted by a big smile, hug, and kiss from them. The same goes with their children (and their kids too!)! How lucky am I?
Also, tonight, I spent time just talking with my cousin. Thanks Cary Neil! You are always so funny to talk with! I love you!
